Why Travel to Guizhou ?

Guizhou can be described in two labels as: the province of multiple ethnic minorities and mountainous terrain.

Firstly, Guizhou is the home to 48 Chinese ethnic minorities with multiple unique customs and cultures. Many Chinese ethnic minorities have been living on this land for centuries. Travelers can admire their rich and distinctive cultures, celebrate festivals with them, and learn traditional handicrafts.

Secondly, due to the location of western China, where are mainly mountains and hills, Guizhou is picturesque place with abundant natural and cultural scenic spots. It is listed as the 6th best region in the world for travel in 2020 by Lonely Planet (the only region in China listed). It hides an abundance of amazing and unique natural scenery, like Huangguoshu Waterfall, Dragon Palace Cave and Danxia Landform. The Danxia Landform is listed as a UNESCO World Cultural & Natural Heritage. The weather is very moderate and cool in Guizhou. It's a good place for vacations with its cool summers and pleasant winters. However, the development of economy is very low also because of these rugged landscapes, especially in the rural areas.

Guizhou becomes more easier to reach nowadays because of the fast development of transportation and good accommodation and food. In Guizhou, you will experience a pleasant climate, unique landscape, mouthwatering food, and - most importantly - disappearing minority cultures. Do not hesitate any more. It is the best to go to Guizhou now.
