Leshan Giant Buddha: about 2 hours by train or bus.

Jiuzhaigou Valley: Famous for its stunning natural beauty, but it requires a longer trip (about 8 hours by car or bus).

Giant Panda Breeding and Research Base in Chengdu: it is the place for baby birthing and breeding,. You can see baby pandas and some superstars of Pandas here that means much more visitors, especially on weekends.
Dujiangyan Panda Base: it is a training base for pandas who are ready to go back to wildlife so it has less pandas but closer distance. The pandas have more times to wander around rather than staying in the big villa. The base it not too big to stroll around. Moreover, you could experience the giant panda volunteer program.
Wolong China Giant Panda Garden: it is located in Wolong, 130km from Chengdu. You can see over 70 native pandas inhabiting and explore panda's nightlife without tourists. Due to the cool weather and remote location, there are less visitors here. A perfect choice for your visiting the native pandas.
Bifengxia Panda Base: this base is located in Ya’an, 150km from Chengdu. It is as 10 times larger as Wolong China Giant Panda Garden. There are over 300 pandas living here. Panda lovers from the whole world can closely watch the adorable pandas and join panda loving care program.
